Flood Damage/Death Editing help needed

Everybody knows about the flood, right? If so, everyone should also know that the flood's arms can be shot off if you are accurate enough. HOWEVER, they sometimes get back up if they are still not dead yet. So, the thing is, is there some way to edit it such that when you shoot off the arms of the flood, they would immediately die(please don't tell me I need CE for this)? :?

Change the effe of arm blowing up in the flood coll to some invisible explosion with enough damage to kill the flood. There are probably better ways of doing it

Sure, will try that out when I'm free some time. Hmm, guess I should get to work on making the flood tentacles have blades on the tip of it. :/

You play too much dead space.....

Change the health of the flood, and make the arms material info the same as a head of any other bipd.
No idea if that'd work or not.

i bet it's somewhere in coll. There must be some tag like "parent dies if destroyed" or something along that lines. o_o

if i havta be honest, its probably impossible without CE handywork, then converting would probably be impossible/Effin'SOB ¬_¬.

double post. Yes, i am sorry.

What is it exactly that you want? As soon as the arm is destroyed the whole flood dies for good? Or do you just want the flood not to fake death? (but behave normally otherwise.)

After some testing with the flood's coll, i believe that in both cases we've got to mod the actv. If not that, it's either actr or bipd. :-\ i'll look into it.

EDIT: i tried messing with the Feign Death floats in the bipd's tag; and all i could do was apparently disable the death faking.
I tried to make the flood feign death each time they took damage, but it didn't work. :-\ needs more research, but i need more time that i don't have right now.

Yeah, you are half right on that. Personally, I MYSELF DON'T play dead space 1 or 2, although I did consider before(but then decided not to after playing with a friend of mine or I would get a heart attack >.>). But that aside, yes Taxi, it would be great if the flood if the flood would immediately die if their arms were shot off, just like in dead space.
