Firstperson Model Injection

Hello, I'm new to the forums but have been modding quite a bit in the past year or so, and i have run into a wall. when importing a CE weapon or one from Mota's tag pack, how does one go about injecting the first-person model? i have the Mod2 tag working fine but the games crashes when i try to inject the first-person model in the same way as the Mod2 tag. i use HMT and HHK. any help is greatly appreciated.

I know i've ran into the same error, sorry I cant help you, but try bitmapping for now

Most of the weapon tags in mota's tag pack are corrupt.

nope, most are fine, they just fuck up upon importation.

Because halo modding has just about been completely done... we can do everything with it >_> Which is why I just don't try now... I had like 3 big unfinished mods going.. lol

How can you say this? Look at mods for other games - look at all the amazing quake mods or the mods for half life 2. They go as far as becoming entirely new games. There's so much more that could be done with Halo. I think the bigger problem is there aren't that many people playing halo demo right now and even fewer who keep up with the new mods so there's not much benefit from making them.
