AI charge time.../adding charging to ai's?

alright so i was editing the charge time of the hunter fuel rod and i made it longer. when i tested it he charged it and then it died.
where is the AI charge time referenced (actr,actv,bipd)?
all help would be greatly appreciated.

Bipd -> Reflexives -> Functions (probably Function 2, which is "charged"; Function1 is "illumination")
Change the Period (seconds) value

ah alright thanks i see. now i can make a decent onyx mod... among other things
EDIT: i hate to be a pain, but is there any non crashy way to add charging to a other AI like the sentinel?
