1. register
2. you have to be really stupid to not know where to put a bloodgulch.map
3. i wonder maybe in the maps folder there just might be a bloodgulch.map

If you are on a mac: click on these things in this order: Macintosh HD -> Applications -> Halo Demo -> Maps. If you have not messed with anything, it should say this, in this order: b30.map, bitmaps.map, bloodgulch.map, sounds.map, ui.map. Change the bloodgulch.map to something like Originalmap.map . Now, get the mod that you downloaded, take it to the place where you changed bloodgulch.map to Original.map and place it there. THE MOD HAS TO BE TITLED bloodgulch.map. If it is not, it will not work. There, now everybody knows.....

(This was on a previous post by me, please, look around before yu ask all these questions. Me and everybody on MGM thanks you...

what you don't seem to be getting is that it's a blank document, I know how to put maps in a map folder....... it's not hard!

BUT! when i downloaded it, it came as a blank document, which is annoying and i can't find anything on machelp, so stop being so fucking hostile and give me an idea how to do it!

You do know that it doesn't matter if there's nothing on the icon, right? It can be blank and it still works.

ohh... he means that the thing didnt have a document type... not a problem. right now im modding a map that, because of technical difficulties, is now a hexedit file instead of a .map. and it works fine, i can tell you that!

right, tried that doesn't work. the size is 5.5mb.........
that's not big enough for a map! i've downloaded it from 4 other sites, same thing each time

If the file is that size then the map is probably still compressed. You just need to expand the file. Try adding .zip or .sitx (you will need Stuffit to expand this type) to the end of the file.
