Is going on with all this CE stuff?
yes, i too like CE maps n' crap
but the way we (as in the senior members of MGM) mod is much, lets say, cool-er?
so, what are YOUR thoughts on CE importing to mac?

It's good if the import is not the main focus of the map... if all it is is bloodgulch with a bunch of imports, GTFO

for me I like using CE scen tags because there are essential building pieces like hanger walls, regular walll 2, bases, and some other cool things.

You, nor anyone in this thread is a "senior" member or modder of MGM. CE has been used for years. HHK, the original Mac tag import/extractor, was made in 2004. The creation of this application has been the cause of years of heated argument on the basis of CE use in general modding. There won't be an end to it, either. CE in moderate use can be a great asset to a mod. I've personally used at least a few CE tags within every mod I've ever created, using HHK. A modder who has the potential to go somewhere will learn to break free of import mods, others will be flamed and eventually leave. It's just the way things are at this point in time.

I joined when hex was still the cool way of doing things. I remember the release of Eschaton 0.6.

You don't see yourself as a senior member? God, I hope you meant no one but you and Brim, cuz you two are grandpappies and such.

If you want to make a map out of scen, I think Pool proved that making one out of pelicans sucks ass and most others who were smart proved that using bits of CE bsps in the form of scen is awesome.
On another note, I remember when Eschaton 0.4 was the big thing, but not when it was released, I wasn't around then.

Modzy joined after me... I remember when he was still a nubbin.
You're not senior until you've been here for 2 years or more, IMO.
