Why thank you. Unfortunately, I am not about to reveal anything... Just know that this won't be a conventional map, this is not being made to be played on for actual games. This is... something different...

'Not meant to be played' reminds me of weaponless mods. I'm a fan already!

Alright I see a real discussion between new and old mgm users. So I guess i should get in on this conversation.

I'd like to say as I grew as a teenager, first starting in the clanhalo community, then eventually to this forum. When I joined i met many people, a lot who I still talk to and consider good friends today. People like Kiyoshi, Mota and Syperium. Beast, Adam and Magnus (just met but he is a pretty cool guy, eh pwns in urban terror and doesnt afraid of magnets.) And as I grew On the forums I naturally matured and grew into myself today. And MGM was here as I did it. And as I grew I posted, I mean just look at your old posts guys, you can see how much we've changed (and in some but not all cases, matured). Obviously I myself have stopped with the trolling a few years ago. As for the new tools and not using the new abilities, I did try this. I actually released the L4D Mod hoping would build on it, making their own maps. Trying to inspire and light a new fuse in this community. Sadly it didn't work, but it was still fun as hell doing it. And I had great times with so many of you guys, rather it be playing in bloodgulch, fun with noobish mods, Or just trolling on skype. You guys are awesome, and So i must say I agree with Kayar, I may not post, but I lurk, searching the forums for the next spark, or an oppertunity, constantly hoping. I mean, it would be nice to see a mod or two that really showed what us as a community can do. Showing all we've learned just with a bunch of teenagers messing with hex, soon to programming then to developing our own apps! All at such a young age! We should be proud. And we got some damn good people here, and we have some damn good conversations. We will never die, ever.

Glad to have a nice deep convo with you guys, needed it.

Actually, the appropriate response was...

(Clap Clap Clap)
(One Guy clapping)
(Clap Clap Clapclapclapclapclapclap)
(Many people clapping).

But lame joking aside, a lot of the nubs here need to just start dicking around in Eschaton until they get something cool to happen. Or, more likely, something interesting that could be made to be cool.

And that is how I learned!
To dude above me, seriously? Just mess with the values and either you aren't observant enough, or that plugin doesn't do anything! Move on to the next one then!

he means the plugin that you're using might not have enough features for you to edit things to make your mods cooler and more professional.

To be a prefessinal, first use spell check.

Then, remember to polish up your mod. It's all about the polish. Leave NOTHING. Everything should be how you want it to be, and how you plan it to be. If it's not perfect, you should fix it. If you cannot fix it, try to make it not suck. If you cannot make it not suck, hide the thing so no one sees it. If you cannot hide it, you should delete the tag all together. If you deleted the tag and it crashes, you're screwed. So the moral of the story is, backup before you delete tags or rebuilt.

Example: You make a weapon with infinite ammo. But then you notice the ammo HUD display, it's filled halfway, with the ammo meter on 0. You should definitely fix that, do it by either nulling out the meters in the HUD tag, or simply changing it's Weapon Hud, or just by importing blank & black bitmaps. (of the same size)

ANYWAYS.

If you have a theme, always stick to the theme, like, don't have slow hogs and slow moving speed and suddenly a SUPERFASTBANSHEETHATKILLSEVERYONE.
Not kewl eh.

Also try to keep things balanced. Try to make the experience fun for the whole family. And when i say family i mean player.

Always remember, there's always a limit when doing things. Don't listen to the mythbusters here, if it's worth doing, it might not be worth overdoing.
You sometimes have to know when to stop when making a weapon or vehicle.
Yea, sometimes it's fun to have like, a lot of vehicles on a map, or to get very fast walking speed or jumping height.
Yea, those things are cool, but if you put that much vehicles, there's always the blue hog glitch, or that all the vehicles will cause lag. If you walk too fast it might make it hard for people to shoot other people. Or if you jump too high it's hard to jump up a base, you'd jump over the whole thing, eh?

Example: Assault Rifle that shoots lasers. KEWL!
But, AR that shoots 30 lasers per second and causes graphics lag. NOT KEWL.

Yet another example: Projectile gets 1.5 speed. KEWL!
Projectile gets 40 speed. KEWL!
Projectile gets 10000 speed. NOT KEWL. Because there really is no point in going that high.

I hope this makes more sense than how much sense I dare to hope it has.
BAM, not paradox, get it? It's actually an infinite loop of hopes. Therefor, i hope INFINITELY!
Edit in awesome pink

So yar. Hope you actually get that. :D
