help with make snow on ground

can some one tell me where i can find a tut on putting snow on the ground also if there is away to make it falling from the sky.

Falling will require a recursive meta inject and a swap for weathers. On the ground, you could simply replace the levels/test/bloodgulch/grass_detail bitmaps with something white (like in the covie test area mod)

ah thanks for the help well i can do the snow on the ground but im not very good at modding so i dont think i can make it falling

btw is there even gonna be an island 2 cause the brain eating thing that was funny the first 30 times i saw it

sword released The Shaft Beta. Its the shaft of the island. Pretty good, but far from finished. Play slayer and restart till you are in the level, then fire. Its dual SMGs.

k i have 2 more questions
1) make the name say some thing else ie when u pick up nades its says u picked up basketballs or some thing like that i no how u do it but i dont no where that place this like wat line in hex edit or if u can do it in hmt
2)when the game starts make the bottom say made by sexi boi like in kw mods it says big bros watching you play nice

To change the HUD text of the fragmentation grenade, you need to "go to" this offset: 00CC920C.

Now, on the right side of HexEdit, which is called the ASCII section, you'll the text, "Picked up fragmentation grenade" with a whole bunch of periods in between each letter... To alter what it says, you'll need to select (I know it's a pain) each letter, one-by-one, and change them, obviously "one-by-one."


And, to change what the Loading text says just like with the KW Map, you'll need to "go to" this offset: 00D5876C.

And, since it's the last paragraph of text in the portion, you don't really need a description of what it says. You also need to do the same thing as you do with the "frag grenade" HUD text; select each letter one-by-one, and change each letter, one-by-one.


It'll take a while, but it'll be fun (in your case) when you're done.

Are you using High particles or medium quality models? If not... Upgrade. High particles looks so cool on my new mod (still in the works.)

Its in the beta. Thats a preview. There wont be testers till I get done with basically everything. Then a chosen few will play, ill adjust, and then we can have some fun with the uber cool high quality particle mod. Yay.
