What the hell it has the extension .gz? Sorry I dont want to figure it out guys.

My stuffit wont open it and I have 11.0.3 or whatever it is.

Try opening with stuffit expader (right-click on file, click open with...then find stuffit expander. If it's not there....do get info (apple + i) and select stuffit. It should open with stuffit?

Yes it should. Maybe the type you are trying to unstuff is not compatiable.

.gz is compatible...so is .tar...

No, it automatically opens in stuffit, except it crashes about half way through.

Re-download stuffit, get rid of pref files.

I think there has been another recen tupdate to stuffit. Maybe that will solve your problem. The other possibility is that the file you are trying to unstuff is corrupted in some way.

It is probably corrupted because I did another download that was .gz but not his bitmaps and it worked fine.
