Physics modding??

Post by Unknown-D » Mon Apr 04, 2011 4:57 am

Anyone kind enough to tell me how to mod the physics of ANY vehicle to flip over and force any AI's out?
PS: Would be useful if you could tell me how to make the vehicle invisible too. And yes, I know Fonzie's L4D mod has the warthog's and scorpion's physics edited but it's just that I'm trying to mod the physics of a bigger vehicle that fits more AI's to make a mod I was thinking of.
May peace prevail in this world.
Perhaps I should mod Halo again. Soon.

Set centre of gravity-Z to something fairly high. I think for a pelican you could use 50.
Then go into the mod2 of the vehicle, and swap all the tags in there for ligh lights/coop respawn or something like that.

Thanks, will try it out later. This is eschaton's meta editor and not hex edit, right?

And uh, which eschaton plugins would you recommend?

I used to use the HMT style ones for basic shit if I recall correctly.

Yeah, your method works for me, thanks! Now, I will just have to figure out how to make the mod crash less often... =/

Either you are groping for answers, or you are asking God and listening to Jesus.

rip out my zombie spawner

go to it's reference tagz

the phys tag will be called zombie physics

import zombie physics into your map

swap the vehicles physics with my physics

bam done, your ai will fall out, regardless the vehicle.
