Random itmc weapons?

Is it possible using eschaton to make a itmc tag swap between 3 or more weapons every 20 seconds or so? Such as how the active camo and overshield swap every minute or so, except that it swaps every 3 or more weapons instead?

Yes! Sparky has provided us with CE-made itmcs with dozens if empty weap slots. You fill the ones you want and leave the other slots empty, so that the itmc will randomly spawn a weapon from the ones you put in it.

Then you can choose the spawning time too in the meta editor as you would with any itmc.


Now, i've looked on HDM but… couldn't find the tag. :C probably i suck at looking for things? When Sparky reads this he will surely provide you the itmc.

Ah, forget it. I'll PM you an unreleased map of mine that contains that itmc. Before exporting it, though, be sure of nulling out the weapons it contains, or you'll be exporting a lot of shit you might not want. :\

It's in the Incyclopedia, on the http://tools.halodemomods.com/ page. Use the itmc at the very bottom called "z my item collection" and choose one that has the number of references you want. Do not leave any references blank, but distribute them throughout; for example, if there are 24 itmc slots and you have 3 weaps you want to reference, fill 8 slots with the first, 8 slots with the second, and 8 slots with the third. That will give you an 1/3 probability for each, but even if you had only 3 slots, you wouldn't be guaranteed a linear rotation because it's random.
