How to speed up the reloading anim for the Sniper Rifle?

I'm trying to make the SR look bolt-action by giving it a 1 round clip, but I think it takes to long to reload to be usefull. Is there a way I can make the animation of reloading quicker because the "reload time" is already 0 (default), which is...confusing.

…shit! I'm afraid the only thing you can modify to successfully make the animation shorter is mod the animation trigger tag for the sniper!

But before that, try (i'm wild guessing) messing with chamber time, changing weapon type to shotgun, swapping the third person antr of the sniper to shotgun and see what happens. :-\ (remember to make backups before experimenting!)


PS: I said "…shit!" because i know nothing about antr modding. :-\ If we can't get the result you want with other methods i won't be able to help with that.

Try modifying these values, both Animations 8 and 9. Make a backup, because this will likely crash the game when you reload your weapon.
