AI following distance?

AI following distance?
I was wondering if it's possible to make AI allies in b30 always follow you around. I know there's a "Friend Avoid Distance", but I pretty much want something opposite of that.
Any ideas?

the traditional answer is that following is acheived with scripting, where you define regions on the map where the marines go. they don't actually follow you around, but move to the new region when they are commanded to do so, after a certain state is ready.
short answer: scripting
long answer: ...good luck with that.

Either you are groping for answers, or you are asking God and listening to Jesus.

One thing that you could do, is make the AIs hearing distance REALLY high. So that when you fight they will always come to you. I have never tried this before, but with the "Friend Avoid Distance", I wonder what would happen if you made that number negative. Could you try that out for me? Because that would be really funny if all you had to do was make that number negative and they would follow you around.

They need firing positions in those positions otherwise they won't be able to do anything, like when your warthog flips and the marines don't move, or they run back to the beach.

Re: AI following distance?
Tried those things, didn't work. They'll keep progressing as long as there are enemies to fight though.

It would be cool if I made a 15 seat warthog like I did a few months ago for a mod. Its really weird, but It's epic having 13 marines shooting from the passenger seat.
