Ok, I know how to adjust the blast radius of the damage effect (jpt!) but I have no idea how to visually enlarge the explosion. It's kinda like the Calamity Explosion mod or Sparky's Galaxy Wars: Outpost Omega X-1's nuke.

go to the proj tag of your proj. Then go in the the effe tag of your explosion. Then into the.... erm.... particles tag and er... change the radius to a larger number, and also change the number of particles to a larger number. I'm doing this from memory.. it's been a while since i've modded...

I'm uncertain about the 'particle tag'. It's either particle or particle system i think.

Just look around in those tags and you should be able to find it.
Know that the visual effects of the explosion is EFFE. And the things that you see flying out are particles.

OK, it was particle systems but I have a misty explosion and not a closely compacted explosion.
I'm using fuel rod. I don't think I can have a huge radius.

EDIT:
I found it. You edit the particles. I think 31073 is maximum. Then shrink radius to 0.5. Then I changed the scale multiplier and the radius multiplier. Time of the explosion is optional.

you can make the colors of the explosion change as the explosion progresses. plasma explosions are fun to mess with
