Reverse-Engineering all Halo files
I need some help, here, because I don't have any Xbox maps. I need the following items, if someone could upload them for me, that would be fantasmical:
1. Halo 1 Xbox maps (b30.map, bloodgulch.map, bitmaps.map, sounds.map and ui.map) and SavedGame files (gametypes and save states)
2. Halo 2 Xbox maps (coagulation.map, any singleplayer map, mainmenu.map and both shared .map files) and SavedGame files (gametypes and save states)
3. Halo 3 Xbox 360 maps (one of each map type, except single player, because I already have a single player map: multiplayer, main menu, and all resource maps) and SavedGame files (gametypes and save states) and any helpful Forge-related files
Thanks in advance for any help; this is for Zeus, so that I can reverse engineer these files and make Zeus be able to edit them.
I don't mind if they are .dtz compressed files, as I can decompress those file types. If it's possible, you could try using a map converter program or sticking the xbox discs inside your computer, but I'm pretty sure they will only show that notice says it is an xbox disc if you try to load them up in your computer. Xbox ripping apps are available, though, I'm pretty sure.

LOL GAY!!!
jk but seriously are you doing reach?
Re: Reverse-Engineering all Halo files
Thank you for that; your encouragement helps!
Yes, I'm reverse-engineering all the game versions in the Halo series. That is, Zeus will eventually be compatible with them. So you could, say, download an xbox 360 Halo 3 beta map and attempt to convert it to multplayer Halo 1 demo. Models formats and stuff will get converted, as much as possible, but some data will of course be discarded, because the Halo 3 engine includes more types of information. Stuff that will be by default is Halo 2's crate - to - scen, for example. Dual-wielding I don't know about yet; I might be able to get this to work using existing models and animations from halo 2's cyborg, but I might not.
The only thing not planned for Zeus is memory modding. That is the domain of nil, samuco and others, and an entirely different bandwagon, in my opinion, probably closer to reverse-engineering the application itself.
By the way, has anyone use Splunk on Halo games, yet? I got it all set up but it takes a heck of a long time to load - but that was on my iBook G4, and I have a much faster computer now, so... I should try it again at some point and report back with my results. Splunk analysis and logs all processes related to an application, and it's free.
