I saved the map, but no changes happened and the "Date Modified" didn't change. I reopened the map and the changes were not present. I then resaved it with some changes, reopened it and the changes were gone.

Do I do a specific step?

multiple bsp rendering is totally sweet, awesome job!

Now it's crashing every time I open a map.
Also, I'm just watching it kill itself. I'm not force quitting it.

Settings: Low Detail, no transparencies.

By the way, all of these occur after opening a map for the second time after resetting it:

Resetting the first time: It's doing the same thing. I've rerun the application a few times.

Resetting the second time: What's it doing? The map appears to be open, but the entire window is black, except for the buttons. It's not rendering anything, not even the BSP (I'm telling it to render wireframe and textured). The application is still very responsive, though.

Resetting for the third time: Same as second time.

Redownloading and Resetting for the fourth time: Soon after I finished setting my preferences, it tried to open a map, even though I didn't tell it to try to open a map, but it tried, and failed, and gave me the same crap as the second and third time.

Resetting for the fifth time: I restarted before doing this. It's still doing the same thing as the third and second time. It's not rendering.

Resetting for the sixth time: I'm now running this program through Terminal.

Code: Select all

I've tried using different accounts. The one I regularly use doesn't have administrator privileges (I have a separate admin account), so, it won't be system-wide. This means that appzapper wouldn't work if I used it.

/tmp/starlight.auto
~/Library/Preferences/net.samuco.starlight2

Also try clicking reset camera position (in camera window)

Isn't that what "Reset" means? Also, this preference file is saved in the user's library. This library cannot be read by other accounts on the computer unless you allow it to.

I've clicked every button. As for the deletion of the auto file, I'm doing that now...

edit: Works.

edit2: I've tried "Yes", and I've tried "No". Neither button saves it.
