Ok. im not a noob modder by some standards, but this is getting annoying. what happened to the banshee? i was just changing some simple stuff and when i started the game, it wasnt there. heres what i did:
Banshee:
vehicle ID - pelican/dropship
top speed forward - 0
(another) top speed forward - 0
top speed reverse - 0
acceleration - 0
decalaration - 0
this is all i did to it. nothing else. when it didnt appear, i swapped it with a warthog. the warthog was in the right place, but the banshee was still nowhere. anybody have a clue what is going on? i wont say what i was trying to do, but it was gonna go in a mod that i was thinking about, so i would like to make it work... all i need is for the banshee to re-appear.
Banshee:

wow. good thinking. absolutey correct. i recently thought up what i think would be a cool mod.
bloodgulch, split up into thirds or fourths by two log high walls (including caves). the only way in or out is through teleporters, which act as doors. when you go through, you come out the other side a meter away and vice versa. weapons would be mostly normal and so would vehicles (even if they are obsolete). each base has its own zone and a nuetral zone or two in the middle. the banshee, being a flyer, would be heck of cheap, so i thought it would make a cool turrent. if it could go up and down, but not forward, it would work sufficiently. the "turrent" would act as lookout and increased defense. there are some other things i thought of too, such as weildable healthpacks (imagine beating someone to death with one!!!) and spiral rockets. i think almost all of it i can do, except the teleporters and walls. i was testing the stuff first before requesting a modder for the walls.

most of the stuff im very sure is possible, even slightly tested. but i would need either to figure out how to add scenery wherever i want, as well as teleporters, or i need someone to do that for me...
k, now im annoyed...
apply the same stuff to hogs and now the warthog is gone!!!
its gotta be something else...
EDIT:
i decided to isolate the cause of the dissapearing vehicles. i decicded to have two hogs. one with peli ID and zero speed. the other with a peli ID and zero acceleration. turns out, if the all speeds are set to zero and tagged as a peli, the vehicle dissapears. maybe even just with zero speed... this needs some research. the zero accel hog did exactly as planned, but it didnt go up... it just sat there.
k, now im annoyed...
