when you create a tele, there's two points, one for enter, and another for exit. Move those accordingly.

They look like green and yellow squares... select and move them around.
By the way, teleporters are CSS, meaning that if you're hosting a mod with new teleporters, those people who join your game won't need to download your mod in order to be teleported. They will get a brief second of warping before they get sent through the teleporter, but it's still considered CSS.

Just make sure that where they come out of the teleporter is relatively safe; one of the lessons learned in Siege was that such a lag in a combat situation - however brief - can be detrimental, not to mention very frustrating, for players.Sparky wrote:They look like green and yellow squares... select and move them around.

Check out my "Teleporter Paradise 1.1" mod (if it's not in the mod database, it's on my user page, User:United Nations Space Command). I placed lots of new teleporters that brought you from the inside of the bases to different secure areas around the map. No complaints from players on the lag; they all thought it was really cool.

Don't randomly call people "derp", everyone starts like this you know.
Okay more detailed explanation:
1. Open your map with swordedit
2. Move your camara to your teleportal which you want to move higher
3. Select it
4. Select translation mode
5. Hold control, and move the mouse, the teleportal should either go up or down (move "mouse/finger ontrackpad" forward to make it move up)
There you go!
