Halo Trouble Shooting

Post by Flimflam » Sat Jan 31, 2009 12:02 pm

Ok recently my computer got all messed up and I needed to get a new harddrive. But when I got my computer back Halo no longer worked, along with several other games that I had. Is it not compatiable with newer hardware? Please help me I miss halo =(

Maybe you should tell us your computer specs and explain how they "no longer worked"...
We can't help you fix something when you don't explain your problem.

Use more details and you will be more likely to get help.

Try reinstalling Halo and then see if it happens again. if it keeps happening there may be a corrupt file some where. maybe.

This bump is actually relevant. OP has shown renewed interest and the only post answering the original question did not solve it. Less spam more help.

You say they needed to give you a new Hard Drive, yes? Which means they most likely had to reinstall the OS.
Which version of OS X are you on?
Try AppZapper, and re-download Halo.

If they did end up reinstalling your OS, then when they backed off/restored your applications, they might have missed some important files, thus causing applications to crash. Idk about halo though, as it seems pretty portable from what I could tell...
