Seems to be looking great. I'm happy at the price, too. The only thing I'm pissed about is the new SF4 lost the tabs-on-top, I really started to like those. Some people are pissed that 2.2 gamma is the new default, but I like it better anyway.

why is that a problem? Just calibrate your screen to your liking when you get it.

Yeah, but most people wont so those who tailor images to be seen on the Web or in an application can no longer assume what gamma the end user's screen will be set to and therefore do not know how exactly it will look.

Hopefully when they update the Mac Minis, iMacs and Macbooks (or Pros) it will come with 10.6.
Wait.. Just checked. THEY UPDATED THEM NOW? Aw man... I was hoping it would be sometime in winter. That way I could get the most current release when I bought a new computer. Ah well. At least they come with 10.6. Now to check the updated pricing... >_<
Blah... Thats a lot more than I want to spend. The other options were less than $1,200. The new options for the same stuff (+ .26Ghz and 1066Mhz DDR3 vs the lessMhz DDR3 RAM). Kind of annoying. Maybe I can see about the student discount, as both my parents work at the University...

Yep, that will save you at least a hundred. I did that when I got my early 2008 MBP.

I don't have the money for a new Mac. All I've got is my two year old iMac which still runs like champ and can run any game on the market.
But, for a bit more of a speed boost for Snow Leopard, I just ordered some new RAM.
I'll be going from 2 GB DDR2 600MHz to 4GB DDR2 800MHz.
Should be a fun ride.
