How to bypass a gr ban...?

when you log into gamelamer

lol.. register new account, unplug ur dsl modem back and forth until u get a new ip

i'm not sure that works.. haven't tried it

In Ghost Recon you can be banned by the HOST in 2 ways I know of.

1) you are blocked by the HOST from joining a room

2) the host has blocked you by IP

So getting a new IP number or getting a totally new game ranger account or contacting the host are about the only options I see.

i see u got a gameranger ban...

i think gameranger bans by blocking email address and IP, because last time i got banned, i was able to log in on my brother's computer (diff IP) and on his account (diff email address)

As i was saying, IP is over email address... u can use www.whatismyip.com to check ur IP address or if your not on a router, u can check in your network system prefs.. once you notice you notice u have an ip change from before (gotta remember which ip was banned) you delete your GR settings document, i forgot where it is.. go search for it

i think after u delete that file, all the gameranger stuff reset.. so u can register a new account under a new email address.. (and if your smart, you wouldn't use ur same nickname as before)

i never did this before, and im sure GR admins will not be happy if they found out u bypassed their ban

You cannot bypass a GameRanger that way. GameRanger uses your MAC Address so even if you get a new account you will still be banned.

You could play tcp/ip games, but that takes time and no one does it much.

not true. alot of times in swgb or aoe2 people give their IP's, so that if u dont manage to join(you cant always join for some ghei reason) you can startup single player and do a manual join. spike and i can be in AIM, and i can get an IP for him and he can join that game. post here if youd be willing to do this.

I had once a GameRanger bann for some minutes it was 30 mins or so.
Someone of you know what a reason for a GR ban is?
