Mac Gaming Mods

Hey Mono, guys,

Do any of you know where I can get the Mac version of any SoF 2 mods? Since RvS has been dead and Halo demo can only keep me entertained for so long, SoF 2 is an ok time killer, except for not having the mods and trying to wait for a server download can take forever. Any help wold be appreciated.

Thanks for the link Mono. Another newb question though cause those still seem to be peecee files . They say to unzip them in your SoF 2 base directory, I can't find that, is there not a Data folder like every other Mac game

What mod are you trying? It might be you just have to create the missing folders and install.

Well, the main one is called ROC Mod, not sure what others are out there, but I want to get all or most of them so I can join any room. I know when the patch came out a long time ago it was Mac specific, so it installed no problem, I have downloaded files from the host server successfully, however if the files are larger that a meg, my impatience gets the better of me. I've tried asking peeps in the servers, but typical peeceers, "You're on a Mac?" "get a PC", "Uninstall your mac and start over". So in other words, no help at all.

Back to the details: My SoF2 folder has only 2 folders in it, not including the single player and multi player apps, they are the BASE folder and PB or punkbuster folder. The base folder has 11 files in it, all labled with your usual maps, textures, etc. there is an empty folder there labled "MP" with nothing in it. That's it so thanks again for any help. Also please forgive my noobness, I'm only good at playing the games, not this kind of stuff.

I think all you have to do is place the mod folder "rocmod" inside your SOF folder, the main folder with the app. Also I noticed that the link I gave you doesn't have the latest version of the ROC Mod. You can get version 2.1c here.
