Edge File + Damnr6 Probs

as of late i am having trouble D/L of Edgefiles and Damnr6 for Mods of any game.... i do not know why.... i understand that the fact that i cannot D/L of edgefiles may be due to the servers being 100% lately but.. i have tried edgefile servers when tehy were at 80% and it says it cannot connect???oon Damnr6... i go to the necesary D/L page... i think it is IGN.... or Fileplanet that Damnr6 uses... anyways.... i click on the public D/L server... and it says that i cannot connect to the server... and that i need to go into tools/options and delete... sumthing??? does anyone have a clue wat to do?
