man I can't even believe this site still exists tbh
anyways fuck yeah it's been a long long time. i've survived two earthquakes since last time I posted I think!
but damn I don't think I would have ever got into game development if it wasn't for this forum. still a hobbyist!
I hope everyone is going fine, it'd be nice to hear from anyone who remembers me.

damn dude. it's actually fucking remarkable that this website not only still exists, but that bots are still finding and posting in it LOL. seems to have only happened the last couple months tho.

i still have this forum bookmarked on chrome. last macbook (bought in 2016) died about 3 months ago, replaced it with a cheapo asus laptop mostly to dump camera stuff on the go. just put new parts in my current PC and been playing a lot of arma 3 with some friendos.

i still do film stuff and i've been working on the soundtrack for a couple visual novels my friends are making. hope everyone's still out there.

Thanks for letting me know my 10 year old password is garbage, Google

All I can say is I wish I still had the creativity and drive that kept me coming here for some 5+ years working on random mod stuff
Still playing games, still on Steam and whatever

Yeah, this place sure brings some nostalgia. Sure I got destroyed a lot by trolls, and most of my mods were pretty bad, but I met a lot of good people on here too.

I guess I didn't really stop modding Halo, and I eventually ended up making my own open source reimplementation of the Halo Editing Kit. It builds maps, edits tags, and does most of the other features of the HEK. I mainly don't have lightmapping, BSP tag generation, or a 3D scenario editor yet.

I guess I just wish this stuff was available back then when Mac modding was at its highest, but better late than never!

Hope everyone's been fine!
