Welcome to a new age

My friends, I have just become aware of a new bill which has been signed by the EU, the UK, the US, New Zealand, Japan and many other countries. This bill will limit our right to free speech substantially, and is the first step towards a totalitarian government such as China.
We were kept in the dark over this bill, and no courts were involved.

Protest this bill while there is still time.

We'll have to protest again. Man, what's the deal with those few super powerful men that want to control the whole society? Why the fuck do they always want to have more profits they'll ever need?! >_<

and lol, can you imagine how would jails fill up if they arrest everyone crossing state borders with "contraband music" in their mp3 players?! It's just as if we were moving drug loads or some shit!! >_<

...and for what?! copyright bullshit?! this is unacceptable. We HAVE to impede this.

Fortunately, some of the terms have been changed, so crossing borders with a few contraband songs on our ipods will not send us to jail. It is only if we are suspected of carrying 'large quantities of contraband' that we will be charged. What defines 'large quantities'? A hard drive filled with music and films? In this case, every individual person at my boarding school will be sent to jail.
Oh jesus, how will this affect porn?

Just like making laws is not new, so is making just or unjust, sensible or outrageous, useful or pointless, inspired or damaging laws.

Gustav, seriously. Unless you post links to the bill here, I'm not even going to bother with this topic. Read the act in its entirety or don't get involved. There's a lot of work involved here.
