Yeah, so any of you that recently logged on may have noticed he joined the MGM group. He sent me a friend request as well. Generally I let them rot in the inbox because I am too lazy, and most of them are from people in the OSX Gaming groups.

Anyways, because he only shared the MGM group with me and was not friends to any of you (so far as I could tell), I decided to look into it a bit. Also, Poland. I can't remember anyone from there on here, but my memory might be a bit off. I was going to post here asking if any of you knew him. But after checking around, I decided he might just be one of the people who used to come here and found the group, so I wasn't going to post anything about it. sword, for example, is in the group, but as far as I can tell has none of you down as friends.

But of course, he had to message me. And guess what.

ITS ALL ABOUT THE GODDAMN HATS. And one in particular.

This is ridiculously stupid. Every time I go into TF2, I get trade requests 3-4 times. I don't need them in my spare time as well. My best guess, this guy went and looked for Mac groups, and is trying to get those earbuds. Good god man, it's a minor prop in a game about teamwork and guns. Also, I've never seen so many smilies packed into 3 sentences. Wish I had a screenshot, but I accidentally closed the chatbox.


If Garuu is actually here, then speak up. Otherwise, I call for removal. MGM may be an open group, but if you're only reason for being in it is to acquire the earbuds, you don't belong.


*** Gotta say though, it is mildly amusing to accept a trade request and watch a bunch of items swarm into the chat box, then them asking for earbuds. All I say is "No, they aren't for trading"
"But I haz hats!"
"So? I don't want hats."

And then their dreams are crushed.

I don't know why I give a fuck, but this man must be stopped! We can not allow him to acquire and item I don't have!... In a game I don't have... On a network I don't have...

I have traded my earbuds like an idiot a long time ago! I didn't know that they were a promotional item that wouldn't be generated anymore, so i got a pair of hats for it.


but meh, who cares about earbuds anyway? I mean geez, <insert rant about hat fortress 2 here>.

^ Exactly, I don't have a single non-weapon item on any of my characters, but I will refuse forever to trade the earbuds. Just to piss people off.

The main annoyance here is this guy is obviously just looking for hats, so... Get outta our group?


Actually, what was more annoying. He messaged me while I was looking around for info, and I though "Oh good, now he can tell me who he is and I won't have to worry about it anymore."

Then I see the chat log and his first message: "Hello Sir!"

I have the Genuine Anger, which is awesome, but kind of depressing too. Because it's a sign that I pre-ordered BRINK. I am now sad.

I think I made it so anyone who is an admin can remove members.
Just saying so you can remove him if the need arises.

They are stupid to add hats and things... no point but mind you I don't much like that game at all. You need modzy to make it like invite only or something.. hes the one that made the mgm thing if my memory serves :/?

Nope, that was me ._. I made it that anyone could join, but I made it so all the cool members could be admin.

This is why I traded my earbuds to fuel. I wasn't using them so why bother with an item you don't use.
