EDIT: Ahhhh... Dammit. Screw you. I just read this entire thread. Why must you bring out the nostalgia? Some of the stuff I was doing back then was modding gold. Not really tech-wise, but certainly with original ideas. We had better mods then any other Halo game aside from Custom Edition, simply because we had to work at the bottom level as a starting point, and figure out our way up. We had to actually do work, and somehow new ideas sprung forth from it. Now you would just load up Eschaton and have in 10 minutes the equivalent of what I spent long sleepless nights figuring out.

And now I need to figure out how to deter this mild depression. Thanks a lot.

So Taxi, did you first mod Oni? How did you get into Halo modding?

So I posted here first on April 1, 2004, and got into Halo Demo modding in June 2006.

Taxi and I were modding halo before we did oni.. didn't we??

yeah! I don't know how to mod Oni!

I was looking for a Oni modding forum because while playing it I noticed that a good amount of the weapon sounds were recycled from (or by?) Halo. I wanted to remake the Oni weapons in Halo, so i asked those guys for weapon models and stuff. (I got some of the models, but never got to make any of the weapons though.)

Ah yea the app EdT posted here had the ability to extract them as obj.. I never did anything with it really did mess around with the game abit though.
