Mac Gaming Mods

I just installed some ram for my macbook pro. Just thought i'd ask what I should do with all this room? My card also went from 384 to 512.

First off no one really needs 8GB. But you already bought it so whatever.

Unless you plan on running five instances of Minecraft, some 3D modelling program and animators, etc. it's really only useful as buffer space.

That cost me just over $600 US. Only complaint is the hdd size (I have a tb external so that's no problem), and it overheats when I play high-end video games, which can be fixed by putting it on books.

Not really. I don't recommend running with anything less than 4 GB nowadays on recent Macs and OS's for even the average user. 8 GB is only a bit more, so it is easy to imagine if one is not satisfied with 4 GB, 8 would be necessary.
