You could build a windows computer that good for so much less. but if you want to run mac, just get the right parts...

I should learn how to build my own computer. And run Linux.
Or I could learn how to paint. I think I'd probably do that.

I'd probably put it in a bank and then leave it for a few years.

Make 16 GB into 4 GB, and don't preinstall final cut pro, then I personally think it'd be well worthy to get (except I don't like magic mouse stuff either, but hey, that's me). You picked out specs for a great monitor, great hard drive, great processor, great OS, some expensive software preinstalled, and a ridiculous amount of RAM you'll never need, so don't expect it to be cheap.

Lol yeah but I had a ridiculous Ram in 2006 and now look, I'm just planning ahead. I'll check the price after I remove some stuff(edit Ram), and I probably won't use the magic mouse.
edit: removing final cut, the mouse, and now 4 gigs of ram I get a total(without tax)

Yeah, definitely! My family just switched back to windblows for the millionth time and I HATE it. Can't set up my iTunes library as simply now, which means my Touch is only 3/4 what it COULD be.
