Webcomics!

Post by TaxiService » Mon Aug 09, 2010 2:05 pm

Hai! I started this topic 'cause i wonder if you people read some too!

like, here are the ones i like so far! (in no particular order)
MS Paint Adventures - drawn by Andrew Hussie, this site is the home of Problem Sleuth and Homestuck; and is the first thing i check in the morning. @_@
XKCD - drawn by Randall Munroe - like, this is i think the first webcomic i started to read... by randomly browsing its archivies. (now unaccessible i think?) XD
pictures for sad children - this one too is pretty awesome. drawn by John Campbell
Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal - an interesting comic by Zach Weiner. he updates often and makes an overall fun comic. XD
Questionable Content - by Jeph Jacuqes. I think i liked it more in the past, but it's still interesting~
Dr. McNinja - made by (i didnt knew!) Christopher Hastings, an EPIC saga about this ninja... WHO IS ALSO A DOCTOR! O_O like, i'd start reading the Death Volley issue if i was a first reader, and then the rest, 'cause it's awesome.
Nedroid - Anthony Clark is the guy who colors Dr McNinja's strips, but also has a comic of his own! and well, it's pretty awesome!
Kiwis by beat - by Ryan Armand - everything on that page deserves a medal. I think my favourite issue is this one.

also, i've just started reading Bad Machinery. a sort of sequel of scary go round, which i didn't read. (which appears to be another "sequel" to Bobbins, which i tried to read just for the sake of it D: ) - - and, well, it is... interesting. o_O

other good/nice comics are AmazingSuperPowers, Dawn of Time, and... i'm sure i am forgetting something... ·_·

AH, dinosaur comics!

...anyway. all i wanted to know is if any of you people read some stuff of this kind too! o_O but i ended with an useless post! ...no big surprise!

well, discuss or something!

I read these. And I read:
whatdoyoudo.net (he took the idea from Andrew Hussie. Not bad though, has a cool funny mmorpg style)
vgcats.com Scott Ramsoomair makes awesome shit, like Super Effective and the VG Cats strips.
bearandtiger.com because it has some good comedic fun, and it's essentially Russian... sort of. XD
eqcomics.com Edmund Finney's Quest to find the Meaning of Life is awesome.
sandraandwoo.com is good.
blipcomic.com I read for the crazy action scenes and some of the zany humor. But, it's somewhat of a chick comic.
jscartoons.com Radioactive is pretty much if you took the plotline of blip and let a ravenous dog mangle it for days and then beat it with a hammer. I read this before Blip, then found Blip and was like "wait, what? haven't I read this before?" But, deeper you go into each the more you see they're completely different. Just similar.
mcmittens.com found this very recently, I read through all of the whole mcmittens thing which inspired me to make those mystery detective story posts in the spam section. 'Twas very good.
Aaaaaaand I think that's it. Oh, except, if you go into the forums section of mspaintadventures.com, you can find all the forum adventures there that people do. Currently, in there, I read:
Exe, a very well done stick figure action comic, with animation.
Fencing Club Adventures, A mix of Scott Pilgrim, fencing, N64 games, monopoly, pirates, historical references, love, romance, adventure, and general inanity and insanity. Very well done and awesome.
Supersoldier, among my all-time favorite, it's just a shame that Tanglwurm, the guy who does it, has been having so much trouble being able to update it consistently. It's very awesome though, very bad-ass, full of action and beautifully drawn. I have used some of his art from it as wallpaper in the past.
These forum adventures you would have to search for in those forums to find, but they're there, and they are awesome.

Well clearly Mr. I-Claim-I-Have-Been-Two-Years-Here-As-Guest-Or-Just-Browsing isn't very clear on his facts. Kiyoshi did want to leave i guess? But then again, many people "left" and came back 1 month later. That was a different period though.
Kiyoshi, sorry to pester you, but..Megaton Collab?

I left after some....personal issues. I'm only back for awhile and post when not working/school is going on. College is random like that. Plus, I gotta finish the MGM photo for you guys, as well as release the MegaModel pack.
As for MEgaton, I just went meh since suddenly everyone wanted to do one.
At pillar, amy's a derp. I let people call me what they want, since i had a habit of changing my name constantly.
