Requirements:
Blender 2.49
Google Sketchup (pro isn't needed)
If you have Google Sketchup Pro, there's no need to follow this tutorial.
1. In Google Sketchup, open your model and export it as a COLLADA model (*.dae).
2. Open Blender and press the A key to select all objects. Then press the del key (the smaller delete key). If you have a keyboard without the num pad, hold FN and press "delete".
3. Doing this should have caused all objects to disappear. Now, go to File -> Import -> COLLADA 1.4 (.dae).
4. COLLADA files are ginormous. Press the S key and scale it down so you can actually see everything well. You might want to set it to textured.
5. Go to File -> Export -> WaveFront (.obj).
