500 GHz Chip

IBM and Georgia Tech have been able to produce a 500 GHz chip. They were able to do that by freezing the chip to -451 degrees Fahrenheit. At room temperature it was running at 350 GHz. I wouldn't mind the room temperature chip. :rocker:

Sa-weet! If only I could get my hands on one of those.......and a computer that could utilize 350 GHz.

EDIT: I wonder how much RAM that would need.

You mean L2 cache? wow i bet it'd need a load to cope with the system bus and ram speeds! heh
