This is not a government, we don't "elect" moderators or runner-ups. If monoman wishes to appoint someone with that leadership, he may, regardless of any of our opinions, in his best interests for the forum. It is not our place to consider placement of such positions, and should he choose to do so, he would likely choose from candidates from his own standards.
