DUDE. Oh. Em. Gee.

The Halo: Reach Assault Rifle has more polygons than a Halo 3 Marine.

That's crazy. Hail Bungie for making Halo 3 look good, and then overdoing it on Reach.

Also, as far as I can tell Halo 3 has been in the top 10 most played games on XBL per week since its release. And thats not even mentioning the fact that Halo 2 has forever dominated the Original Xbox games top 10 most played list.

Simply amazing. And people say Halo sucks. They are only trying to maintain an image, while you know they secretly play it on the side. Gotta wonder what Reach will end up doing.

The Elite looks very cool. I'm glad Bungie decided to do something about the rather dated ODST models.

Thats just a marine. We haven't even seen the ODST's yet.

Incorrect, Those are Reach's Personal Defence Force. Put simply, "Army".

I suppose so. The point is: Marines, Army, Navy, Air Force - practically the same thing in the future. Actually, according to the most official source, Halopedia, the military part of the UNSC its the United Nations Space Command Defense Force (UNSCDF) and consists of Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, and Navy. Each if specifically referred to as the UNSC Air Force, UNSC Army, etc..

So its not the Army and its not the Reach Personal Defense Force.

B-Net Weekly Update wrote: Are the human soldiers seen in the screenshots Army or Marines? Will we see only Army troops, or both Marines and Army?

The troopers seen in the current crop of screenshots are indeed Army Troopers. And of course you’ll see some Marines!

What's your point? The UNSC contains all military branches. In fact, you seem to have contradicted your other point. And who would the ODSTs belong to? Marines and Army makes sense, but so does Air Force in a way.

Oh. Looks like they belong to the UNSC Marine Special Operations division. Btw, I love how detailed the Halo Universe is.

Thats what makes it such a good game. It has a very in depth story line that never gets old and you can pick up from virtually anywhere in the series and still understand what is happening.

I think there are very few games that have such a detailed universe outside of ones based on real life. Plus, the Halo Mythos is not contained only in the (soon to be) six games. Which is awesome. It further cements Halo as the most awesome game series in the history of awesomeness.
