Re: Snow Leopard
Good... Now we just wait until their next big announcement. You know, like the 3rd generation iPod Touch and the tablet they are planning.

I plan on buying the third G iPod Touch. I hear talk that it may have a camera, but no OLED screen ¬_¬
nice tradeup, Apple...but, thats only a rumor.

Actually, all OS users can use it.crazyshroom wrote:Its only for leopard users and nice box cover
It's just for Intel (Fucking Obsoleteness)
Re: Snow Leopard
I thought it was supposed to be 10 bucks, not 30. o_o
Re: Snow Leopard
If you bought a Mac with Leopard after a specific date it's $10, or something like that.Beast O' Teh Land wrote:I thought it was supposed to be 10 bucks, not 30. o_o

Better than M$'s $100 for XP and certainly better than the $200 for the most basic version of Vista. I mean really... REALLY? Im wondering how, mostly.
3rd G Touch with no OLED? ... Isnt that the backlight though? That would be a bit much to remove in place of a camera...

Its "HD" but cant actually play HD without a monitor and a hookup station. Sounds like a cheap way to get cash. Plus there are no Apps. That monolithic monstrosity also hurts my eyes. M$ should have realized by now that people dont like media players that can double as a paper-cutter if you turn it on its edge. Subsurfed goodness for life!

Re: Snow Leopard
There is a specific application called "Classic". Originlal naming, I know. But I think if you had a copy of the OS (you know, an install disk) you could use one of those virtual os things. Parallels, VMware, and others. Most people use them for windows, but if I understood correctly you can run most other operating systems as well.olly12345 wrote:I want an update that lets me use classic applications thats what i would pay for.
Also, some games have a "carbon" version. Like Diablo and Starcraft. They were for the lower OS until OSX came out, and Blizzard patched them up quite nicely. I still miss the SCEditor though, as it was not included with the patch for OSX. Its probably why I dont play SC much anymore... Will totally do that when SC2 comes out though, assuming I have a new computer by then. And Diablo 3. That game is looking so awesome right now...
