Microsoft is teaming with five production houses for a series of seven short films called Halo Legends, reports the Los Angeles Times. The five production houses are some of the biggest names in the industry:
Bones, Casio Entertainment, Production I.G., Studio4 C, and Toei Animation.
The creative director overseeing the production is Shinji Aramaki, director of Appleseed and Appleseed Ex Machina. Microsoft has also roped in Warner Bros. to distribute Halo Legends on DVD and via digital platforms early next year.

Goodbye halo movie.
Otherwise, pretty cool
The armaments which thunderstrike the walls
And monarchs tremble in their capitals.
The oak leviathans, whose huge ribs make
Of lord of thee, and arbiter of war;
Alike the Armada's pride, or spoils of Trafalgar.

That looks cool.
Except for the open air strike fighters. >.>
Last time I remember even the EVA suit had no thrusters, and the UNSC was not planning on giving them that. It's called a pelican, dipwads.
