If dogs require being walked to pee then tell me why my pug gets up every morning and goes outside to pee.

And you can teach dogs tricks, you can actually train a dog. Plus, puppies do sit on your lap and you can play with almost any dog.

Dogs=Man best friend. It got that name for a reason.

What's more likely to protect you if your attacked by another animal?

I don't need a dog to defend me. I have a battle axe. Besides, my cat's pretty vicious, she caught a bird out of the air once. And ate it. And then came over and slept on my lap. ^_^

From my constant surveillance of your house, school, and your extracurricular activities I feel confident to say NO!

Now on the other hand dogs help blind people, can get stuff for you, protect your house, listen to you, are adaptable, and they aren't so lazy that they need to be carried around in a BASKET by their idiot owner.

IF someone came after you on the street would your cat defend you? HELL NO.

Any guy who thinks cats are cute should be afraid for his personal safety.

BTW, Parakeets pwn both cats and dogs combined (not that cats really help the contest)

My Grandma's cat went out, into holes, and ate all the moles in their farm. My Grandma said she must have eaten at least 25 in her lifetime.

EDIT: Oh btw, fish are the winners.
