WHICH IS WHY YOU NEED MATH TO CALCULATE SHIT LIKE THAT! Especially if you're going to be a game DESIGNER. That's a million steps up. >_>

I'm sorry, I'm really fucking mad at the world right now. It's not you.

You need to understand more.
You will use at least some things you learnt in school in your life. Just not all of it, but you still will use most of the knowledge.
Also, what the above poster Noodle said is correct.

A little extra stuff of me:
I am currently in my streaming year in Secondary 2 (basically Grade 8 ) and it is a vital year for me in my education. This year's results will determine what subjects I will be taking for the next 2 secondary years before taking my "O" levels and entering a Junior College or Polytechnic. The courses I would be able to take in JC or Poly will be dependent on the subjects I have scored well in "O" levels (best 6 subjects). The subjects that I would take in "O" levels are those that I choose after my streaming year (this year).

Grade cool?

If there's anything useless in school it's any RE or geometry, unless you want to be a guru or an architect.

Even history is the thing that seperates you from being a dumb durph from an educated young man. Also, depending on the subject/teacher, it can be interesting. Just because it's school doesn't mean it has to be boring uncool or something.

If you're taking any religious ed I would completely agree with you. Algebra, calc, and any science are the most important thing you will ever do to pursue society's standard of living (good career, monehz, etc.)
Wait wait, so you're saying that an English major with a focus in creative writing like me will not be able to obtain said standard of living, "good career, monehz, etc.?"

-.-

No, I'm saying that a general education in those subjects would be essential in spearheading a general range of careers. Considering his preferences of being a pilot or game designer, I'd say those are essential skills. There are specialized careers that don't require, say, algebra, like wirting or philosophy, but a general knowledge of algebra is helpful in everyday life.

Also writing is a science.

I bought it. Berlin Wall is my favorite, and the new zombie map isn't to bad either.
