After some fun spell combat last night, I thought this would be a good event.

On Thursday I will put up the test server on a new map. Your goal is to gather all the materials you need to build yourself a base. You can team up but no more than 2 per team.

On Friday, the map will change to the vast emptiness of the flatlands where you will construct your base.

On Saturday, everyone meets in the IRC channel. I'm looking for at least 6 people to be on for this so it will probably Saturday night. Once we have the enough people the battle will begin.

Also, on Friday and Saturday, I will post up the spells you can use. I'm thinking of limiting it to 2 or 3. So it might be beneficial to discuss with your team of what spell each of you should get.

I'll see if I can try and make this. Though I probably can't. With this said I suggest doing a repeat on a Fri-Sun timescale.

Are underground bases allowed? Or will the ground just be bedrock?

You can now start building your bases. When you first spawn on the map, mark your spot with a block. I'm setting up an area to protect the spawn and I need to know how large the spawn area is.

Mota: I've started a base, find the place with the most furnaces and cacti and you know it's the right one. Holding onto all our more valuable stuff in my gp c. It's 4:30 AM here, so I'm sleeping, but will be on tomorrow to finish the base.

Sorry if I missed this. was in hospital sunday cause I got attacked by 3 guys on sat night at a party... been busy with cops and what not yesterday but yea if It hasn't happened yet I could be in it...
