All I need are thorough rules, and I would be happy to manage the whitelist/blacklist nearly 24/7(it's not there are too many on MGM anyway).

I think it's a good idea. Not necessarily in the hands of someone who isn't a moderator.
Okay, I just don't like you. But I'm perfectly fine with someone like yourself who can be diligent about management relaying whitelist applications 'n' such
Ops can't be around all the time and anyone who can be on around once a day who can give ops whitelist info is good in my book.
