Its here.
swordedit: Genesis
http://clanhalo.net/swordedit.zip
swordedit: Genesis is the first generation of the swordedit Halo: CE scenario editor. swordedit renders maps in 3D, allowing a user to navigate the world and edit any on-map object in many varied ways.
Features included in this release of swordedit include, but are not limited to, the following:
- 3D Map Rendering
3D Map Navigation
4 Rendering Styles
Multiple BSP Support
Bitmap Alpha Rendering
Texture Viewing
Object Selection
Object Translation
Object Duplication
Object Deletion
Object rotation
Teleporter Creation
Scenario scenery reference creation
Bitmap location setting
Known issues:
- Movement keys may become stuck. In the case they become stuck and you cannot stop the camera from moving, press the Command button and K at the same time, or go to File -> Kill all Keys. You may then recenter the camera and resume editing.
Map loading will take a while on older computers. This is a known issue and one that I will be working on over successive versions of swordedit.
No model viewer. Sorry, but I just didn't feel too much of a need to include one in swordedit yet.
You probably won't want to try editing single player maps with swordedit.
swordedit will crash if you set the bitmaps file while the map is opened. I'll solve this in a later release, but for now, you have been warned.
Some other, hopefully minor bugs will probably be found that I have not addressed. If you find any, please report them in this thread.
As of release, swordedit is:
9,056 lines of code with 4,497 semicolons in 38 files

^ can you go on aim mr mods?
hey sword when you get a chance, can i send you my map, and you try to take a look at it and find out what wrong? The hex code is longer than the original bloodgulch for some reason, and the map wont let me import.

which is a shame cause i dont really want to rebuild it again... *happened twice

Hey, thanks Mr Mods. One question: Are you on an Intel mac or a PPC mac?
Anyway, I should say that I've done all of my testing on a computer running on an Intel Core Duo 2.12 GHz processor with 1GB of RAM and an iMac G5 with 1.5 GB of RAM. It runs extremely smoothly on both, and loading of bloodgluch may take 8 seconds at the most, or as little as 3.2 seconds.
If you are on a G4 with less than 512MB of RAM then expect this to lag.
EDIT: By the way, loki, this isn't competition for Eschaton. This is purely an in depth scenario editor, something we didn't have for mac. Eschaton is the best non-CE map tag editor out there. Both programs have points where their functionality overlaps, but they are doing two separate things.

Yeah, I'm really into house music. I've been to a Daft Punk concert and a Justice concert in the last year and am trying to find a way to go to either a Danger, Simian Mobile Disco, Busy P / DJ Mehdi, or another Justice event this summer. Or some mix of all of the above.
I'm listening to a playlist of Kavinsky, Teenage Bad Girl, MSTRKRFT, SebastiAn, Simian Mobile Disco, Danger, Midnight Juggernauts, Daft Punk, DJ Mehdi, Busy P, Laurent Garnier, ediT, Klaxons, Benjamin Theves, Surkin, Get Shakes, and Justice right now.
Yeah, I like this kind of music.
