swordedit
Since I'm going to have to wait on object location translation, I'm going to go ahead and work on rendering the skybox. That'll take a moment to get done.
However, I would like to say that in later versions of swordedit I'd love to focus much more on BSP-related features, such as automatically snapping scenery / spawns / anything to the correct position on the BSP. I'm going to need to learn more about the structure of BSPs, but there's a lot of documentation on 'em and I'm a fast learner. Hell, I taught myself vector mathematics tonight.

The sword.

This makes me REALLY want to go and learn some code. I know... hyperscript. From the ol' hypercard 2.0. Which means I know how to do absolutely nothing with any modern scripting engines. Oh, no wait. Yes I do. I know how to use the Interactive Buddy script. >.<
Good luck, good job, and have fun with it, Sword. Eagerly waiting, just like everyone else. No pressure.

Yeah, my school offers nothing in the way of a competent programming course. I'm self taught, learning how to program over the past year and a half. The hardest part is learning your first language, after that its cake. I think I'm able to program in about 9+ languages now, but am most fluent in C,Obj-C, and PHP.
On another note, I've been learning about vector normalization / crossing and am going to work on translation code once I get home.

Well, I'm out of my quasi retirement and back just to see this... The last time I was talking about Halo on a message board was back when the last version of SwordEdit was released.... Yeah long time ago. I'm glad you are back and working on it! I'd love to be a beta tester or an icon designer... although I have almost the same setup you do (intel 2.16 10.4.11- MBP this summer). Keep us updated! Or do you have a Twitter?
