Some of the stuff in Halo isn't that far off . I mean, the method of flood infection probably would leave the body unable to move (they're dead), though you can argue that there are biologically feasible ways to make something move after its dead (ie self digestion for energy).

The super-soldiers are something that the army is looking into already. There are powered-suits in development now, things that can increase your strength and stamina. At least that aspect of super-soldiers is currently real.

I think I got really bored one night and read up on the story of Halo and started to read about Shaw-Fujikawa Slipspace. Something about using miniature black holes to slip into other dimensions. Yeah, thats more farfetched than some things in Halo, but you could argue that it is possible. General Relativity allows for the outcome of wormholes, while M-Theory allows for multiple dimensions (though I don't really like M-Theory).

Well, at least some of it is unrealistic.

But whatever.
