Congratulations. You are done. Now, here, all secrets shall finally be revealed.

You will finally know the identities of those really behind the revolution...

Contempt wrote:I retract my statement, for now.
PSYCHE!

Hah. Moxus WAS in fact involved in The Revolution. He created the two maps you discovered clues on, as well as posted as a slightly modified version of his own AI to give further hints. His involvement was vital to the success of The Revolution. But he wasn't the only one...
You wrote:Who else then?
Zapconquest. He offered moral support, ideas, and posted the confusing french pizza thing. He was also on-call for posting hints if I or Moxus ever weren't available to. But he and Moxus didn't do it alone...
You wrote:Who are you?
I am Kayar. I posted as all of the historical figures who helped and hindered you along the way. I created the sound files you listened to. I developed most of the hints and clues. I worked my ass off, staying up until 3:00 in the morning sometimes to make sure you either got a hint or didn't. It was fun while it lasted. Thanks for playing.
You wrote:What was the point of all this?
The point of The Revolution was to provide an interesting, fun experience to a forum that is otherwise made up of suspicious, untrusting assholes and zombies. No offense to any of you, through this you proved that you were much more than that. You proved that you could still hold together pretty well, once united under a single goal, without insulting each other too much. You proved yourself not to be zombies, many of you became much more involved than I anticipated. In fact, you made many connections I would have never imagined. "Revolution 1" was named thus because it was the first sound file I made for The Revolution. I had no idea "Paul Revere and the Raiders" ever existed. I had a VERY creepy, goose-bump-filled moment when I learned of the death of their guitarist, on the very day I had begun this! All in all, this was a very worthwhile experience. Thank you for helping to make it that way.
You wrote:That's all very well, but, I want my freaking reward!
Alright, alright! Indeed. We have prepared a reward for you. I wouldn't have done this without one ready. In fact, there are two. A map made by myself, and a map made by Moxus. Download, and enjoy. You've earned it.

I hope you all enjoyed this as much as I did. I apologize to anyone I may have offended during this project, for example, Seafire. It was necessary, in order to keep the hunt from falling apart. I'm sorry. Though, heh... on the other hand... Jefferson DID own you. XD

Thanks for playing!

How the hell did you assume that was an IP address?
Format looks nothing like one. >.>
Too long for a MAC address.

You people fail. Buns.

Notice there's a bit of a repetitiveness among the letters|numbers? Maybe it's a cipher? Maybe a form of communication? o.o

How does one effectively de-cipher a message? By comparing against the fucking alphabet.

I think it's hex~ letters dun go more than 'f' and it's 4 by 4

57:61:69:74: // 20:66:6f:72: // 20:74:68:65: // 20:73:69:67: // 6e:61:6c:2e

4 by 4 O.O *.map style*
maybe a code in bloodgulch? someone with hexedit should check...
O.O Maybe the guy's a godly modder, now he's giving a clue to us mortals about what he found out! just maybe...

Whoa, seriously? O.O I admit, I didn't delete or move the spawns at the back of the bases, because I assumed these were those spawns only used in certain gametypes, which I did not design the map to be used with. Hm, looks like I'll have to edit next chance I get, except I'll be gone for all of August... :(

As for Mox's map, when I copied/pasted the url, it put spaces between the end parts for some reason. I can edit the post again as Revere, or we can live with it and just stick the parts together to form a working url every time we download the map. Think of it as your real final puzzle. :P

I knew it was Moxus. He used the AI a while back for a PM puzzle game.

That was great! Awesome job at keeping everyone guessing and on the right track. Thank you for the maps guys.
