Archer Gulch, by Cronos Dage, implemented by 2310, for Cronos Dage.

  • Spawn with accurate plasma pistol and not-so-accurate needler in Slayer.
  • Flamethrower is now needler.
  • Bases are now archery targets.

I'm so glad you didn't wait for me to make you that archers target in CE. This is much more "kosher".

Well, the targets don't respawn or fall down - but they do work as targets because you can see where it hits.

sounds good, but you know there is a real bow and arrow tag, animations, bitmaps and the arrow sticks out of your target, i was thinking of makinging a hunter gulch, with boomerangs and a horse and the bow and arrow, might throw in some pine trees to.

yeah, ce is frowned upon on mgm, unless it totally rapes everything ever made, and is properly converted to mac, then it is grinned upon...sorta.

okay.

dont release mods with a bunch of converted shit in them. Anyone can do that. Thus nulling the point of releasing a mod. It's kind of like releasing a mod with the needler spawned in bloodgulch. Anyone can do that easily, so why release it?

If you are short on tools on the mac, making something in CE youself, then converting is alright, because no one can convert something that you made, unless you release. Using that to make mods is fine, but the best way is to just make mods without importing too much, just swordediting and eschaton.

You can still do very much with only Eschaton 0.8.1 and SwordEdit. For example, Archer Gulch is very close to CSS.
