002's Teleporter (Memory Mod)

This is another memory mod made with nil's scripting engine. It should work with most map mods and all of my previous memory mods that used nil's scripting engine. Like all of my memory mods, it's Leopard only. So, if you don't have Leopard or Snow Leopard, upgrade, buy a new Mac, or don't download. Don't ask for me to make it work on Tiger, it's not happening.

What it does is it grabs the coordinates of all living players that are not in vehicles every twenty seconds. This means that if a player has died or left the game, their coordinate will not be overwritten and will be stored until another player takes their place. When any living player says "sv_tele" or just plain "tele" in Halo Demo, it will teleport them to a random stored coordinate. It is case-sensitive, so, don't mess up or it will ignore you. One last thing is that it reads the last message every half second. It will not teleport you if something suddenly happens like a death, someone scores, or someone says something. Also, the host must be able to see the message, meaning that the host cannot look at scores. It might be able to read it if the host is tabbed out.

There is a settings.py file located in the resources folder of the application (Application/Contents/Resources) which allows you to toggle the allowance of players to teleport in vehicles. You can get to this settings.py file quickly by opening the application and invoking shift+apple+r. It will reveal the resources folder and probably highlight the HaloDemoTrainer.py file. Do not modify this, modify the settings.py file.


There are no graphical modifications. For those of you who are going to say "Pics or didn't happen", you obviously lack the intelligence to comprehend that it did, indeed, happened.


A last note: If you're wanting to teleport to specific locations, you should try Samuco's iTeleport.
